HN-104  Bio-chemical Filter Large Three stage Filtration

This HN-104 biological filter hides all the things you need in your aquarium in one neat un-cluttered unit. This filter as well as having three stage filtration also has three sections each of which perform a different function within your aquarium. The first is a section is where your heater can be installed inside the unit, this not only hides it out of sight but also circulates the warm water throughout the aquarium.  

The next section is the filter section working hard to keep your tank sparkling clean, and the third section holds the pump which aerates and circulates the clean water which does away with the need of a air pump.

How does this three stage filtration work? 

• Mechanical Filtration- First your water goes through a course sponge to remove any floating dirt and debris. 

   

• Biological Filtration- In this stage the water passes through Bio Balls & very pores ceramic noodles which are the perfect home for good bacteria which are vital to the health of your fish. This bacteria creates a miniature Eco system inside your aquarium by feeding on the waste products your fish produce which means your water stays crystal clean for much longer while the microscopic organisms do the work for you.

   

•  Chemical Filtration- Your water then goes through activated carbon, carbon removes odor, impurities and discoloration and leaves you with crystal clear water.
